Trial Technology

Powerful Presentations to Illustrate the Case

The last ten years have seen an unprecedented boom in technology in every field imaginable. From mobile devices to 3D televisions to automated homes, in modern day society there are very few aspects of our lives that have not been made easier, or at least more interesting, by technology. The same is true with regard to how a case is presented to a jury in the trial of a personal injury case.

The challenge of every lawyer in an injury case is to keep the attention of a jury. Although playing a part in resolving an important dispute between two parties can be an empowering experience, jurors may find it tedious sitting through a trial if the evidence is offered in a dull fashion. Trial technology helps an attorney present the issues and the evidence in an interesting, exciting and often enthralling manner, geared towards aiding the jury in clearly understanding the subject matter of the trial.

The Rudman Law Firm, APC, a Los Angeles personal injury law firm, uses the latest technology to keep a jury engaged in a trial by presenting the evidence and argument in a manner that is visually stimulating and easy to absorb.

Animations

Most trials involve a dispute as to how an accident occurred. Evidence can come in the forms of photographs of accident scenes, testimony of experts, and the old fashion use of drawn diagrams. However, through the use of technology, accident sequences can be brought to life before the eyes of the jury with computerized animations. We work with the very best digital designers to create animations that tie the evidence together and show the jury how the evidence proves our theories. Click on the links below to see samples of animations we have used at trial.

Visual Graphics

We believe in the use of various forms of visual graphic displays to keep the trial presentation fresh and interesting. In addition to digital animations, we often have timelines, charts, story boards, medical illustrations, and other graphics created for display through various phases of the trial.

PowerPoint Presentations

In the Opening Statement and Closing Argument stages of a trial, our personal injury lawyers use Microsoft’s PowerPoint, or other similar software, to prepare electronic presentation slides displaying a visual outline to the jury of the evidence and arguments supporting our client’s case. Through the use of bullet points, photographs, video clips and animations, we create a clear and concise multi-media presentation in both the beginning and summation of the case.

Trial Presentation Software

We use the latest in trial presentation software, such as Sanction and Trial Director, to organize and display trial exhibits, including photographs and video, and to project magnified displays of documents and deposition transcripts (“call outs”) for the jury to see. This software helps us to present our case in a smooth and efficient manner.
